MCP overview
What the Model Context Protocol is and how MyAd exposes 100+ ad tools.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants call external tools. MyAd runs a remote MCP server so tools like Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf can work with your ad accounts directly.
Why it matters
Instead of switching dashboards, you ask your AI assistant:
“Audit my biggest account, list the wasted keywords and add the obvious negatives.”
The assistant calls MyAd tools, reads the results and stages the changes.
Endpoint
POST https://myad.si/api/v1/mcp
The server speaks JSON-RPC 2.0 and implements:
initializetools/listtools/callping
100+ tools
Tools are grouped into accounts, audits, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads, budgets, bidding, audiences, reporting, recommendations, automation and Meta-specific actions. Browse the full directory at Tools reference.
Safety
- Read-only tools are marked and never change anything.
- Mutating tools are logged to History and reversible.
- Every tool respects your account permissions and budget caps.
