MCP setup

Connect Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf and other MCP clients to MyAd.

1. Create an API key

Open Dashboard → Settings → API and create a key. Scope it to specific accounts and to read-only or read-write. Copy it once — it is not shown again.

2. Add the server

3. Verify

Ask your client to list tools. You should see account, audit, campaign and reporting tools. Then try:

“List my MyAd accounts.”

4. Common issues

Symptom Fix
401 Unauthorized Key is wrong, revoked or missing the Bearer prefix.
No tools listed Restart the MCP client after editing the config.
Tool call hangs Check the account has finished connecting in the MyAd dashboard.
